NBA 2023-24 season begins on October 25, 2020

The National Basketball Association (NBA) has released the schedule for the 2023-24 season.

The NBA released the schedule for the upcoming season on its official website on Oct. 18.

The 2023-24 season, the NBA’s 78th, will tip off on October 25 and run through April 15, 2024. Seedings will be held between April 17 and 20, and the playoffs will begin on April 21. The Finals will begin on June 7.

This season, the NBA added an in-season tournament. As a result, two of the 82 games are not scheduled. These two games will be determined by the group stage results of the in-season tournament.
The season opens on October 25, when the defending champion Denver Nuggets welcome the Los Angeles Lakers to town for a conference finals return matchup. The same day, the Phoenix Suns will visit the Chase Center to take on the Golden State Warriors. It will be the first game after the trades of Bradley Beal and Chris Paul. TNT will provide national coverage.

Including these two games, a total of 10 games will be nationally televised in the U.S. during the first five days of the season. They include Boston Celtics at New York Knicks and Dallas Mavericks at San Antonio Spurs (ESPN) on Dec. 26; Philadelphia 76ers at Milwaukee Bucks and Phoenix at Lakers (TNT) on Dec. 27; Miami Heat at Boston and Golden State at Sacramento Kings (ESPN) on Dec. 28; and New York at New Orleans Pelicans and Utah Jazz at Phoenix (NBA TV) on Dec. 29.

Christmas matchups have also been announced. Boston at New York, followed by Golden State at Denver, Boston at Lakers, Philadelphia at Miami, and Dallas at Phoenix.

January 24-28 has been designated as “Rivalry Week. On January 24, New York and the Brooklyn Nets and the Lakers and the Los Angeles Clippers will face off, while Miami and New York and the Lakers and Golden State will have conference semifinal return matches on January 28. The Philadelphia-Denver matchup on the same day will feature two big-time centers in Joel Embiid and Nikola Jokic.

Overseas games are also scheduled. The Atlanta Hawks and Orlando Magic will play in Mexico City, Mexico on Nov. 10, while Brooklyn and the Cleveland Cavaliers will meet in Paris, France on Jan. 12.

The regular season finale is April 15, with all 30 teams playing simultaneously. 메이저놀이터

There are also days when the league takes a break. There will be no games on Election Day, Nov. 7, to encourage fans to vote.

All 30 teams will be on national television at least once on TNT or ESPN, and the number of back-to-back games on the road has dropped to an all-time low of 9.0, according to the NBA office.
