Last chance to leave Tottenham…Munich open talks with Spurs over ‘Kane deal’

It could be his last chance to leave Tottenham Hotspur.

Kane’s next move has been the subject of much speculation. He’s been Tottenham’s ace for nearly a decade and is still going strong, so there are plenty of clubs chasing his signature. Kane himself has been open to a move to realize his title ambitions.

It started with Manchester City. Back in 2021, City identified Kane as a possible replacement for Sergio Aguero. They quickly began negotiations and held several talks. However, they failed to reach an agreement. Chairman Daniel Levy remained stubborn about the transfer fee, and City couldn’t convince him.

Since then, Kane’s transfer speculation has continued. Manchester United, Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), and Newcastle United were all monitoring his situation.

United were the most active. With Cristiano Ronaldo out of the picture and no resources to spend, United saw Kane as the perfect fit. A team that could challenge for the title and continue to challenge for the English Premier League’s (EPL) all-time goalscoring title. United were an attractive proposition for Kane, and he wanted to join them.

But it didn’t work out. Levy was adamant that he wouldn’t sell his ace to a rival in the same league, and United realized they couldn’t change his mind, so they withdrew their interest. Of course, they haven’t completely dropped their interest, but they are taking a different stance than before, demanding that Kane be proactive in his pursuit of a move.

Real have also paid the price for Levy’s stubbornness. After the departure of ‘ace’ Karim Benzema, Real were looking for a replacement, but they backed out of the race for Kane after Levy deemed the transfer fee too high.

For now, Kane is the favorite to stay. With both Manchester United and Real out of the race, transfer rumors are not as active 토토사이트 as they used to be.

Of course, there are still possibilities. German giants Bayern Munich have rekindled their interest. According to Christian Falk of German outlet Bild, the Bavarians are still monitoring Kane’s situation: “The Bavarians have been in contact with Kane’s representatives. They have never ruled him out and were surprised when reports emerged that he had rejected a move to Munich. Coach Thomas Tuchel has made it clear that he wants a striker like Kane,” he said of the transfer speculation.

Munich are set to hold talks with Tottenham. “As I said in January, Kane remains Munich’s top target,” transfer market expert Rudi Galletti wrote on social media on Thursday. Kane is also in favor of a move to Munich. After a few contacts, a personal agreement should not be difficult to reach. Munich will now open talks with Tottenham.”
