“I can do it” Lee Dae-heon’s struggle to score 24 points despite a shoulder injury

Lee Dae-heon scored the most points in an individual season with 24 points despite a shoulder injury.

Daegu Korea Gas Corporation lost 76-87 in the fourth match of the season against Goyang Carrot held at the Goyang Gymnasium on the 9th, and stayed in 8th place with 12 wins and 17 losses.

The gas corporation is running with an injury. Among them, Lee Dae-heon fell during a match against Goyang Carrot on December 31st, and his shoulder ligaments were ruptured in the process. Fortunately, the pain had time to subside over the next six days, but the injured area did not fully recover.

Lee Dae-heon scored 24 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists in 30 minutes and 49 seconds in the 4th round against Carrot. The 24 points were the most on the team and the most in an individual season.

From the beginning of the first quarter, Lee Dae-heon scored consecutively and countered Carrot’s 3-point shot, leading to a 21-20, one-point lead. In the reversed third quarter, the struggling Holloway and Lee Dae-seong added strength with a 3-point shot and pursued to a 2-point gap (47-49). When Carrot counterattacked with Jeon Seong-hyeon and Lawson, he broke through and added a goal while saving speed. 스포츠토토

Lee Dae-heon did not give up in the 4th quarter, which was 55-70. Rather, it gave strength. He put in a mid-range shot from the start of the quarter, and scored various points such as a mid-range shot, under the goal, and breaking through in the second half, quickly raising 9 points. However, he swallowed his regret as he was helpless by Carrot’s 16 3-pointers.

Lee Dae-heon did his best even with his shoulder injury. He tried to feel more comfortable during the All-Star break, trying to return No. 8 Gas Corporation to mid-table, but it did not lead to results.

Gas Corporation enters the All-Star break with this game as its last. Lee Dae-heon will take a short break to recover from his shoulder injury, and will have time to reorganize and work with the newly recruited Devon Scott.
