The Doosan Bears won a practice match against the Australian Professional League (ABL) All-Stars.
Doosan won 7-2 in a practice game against ABL All-Stars held at the Blacktown Baseball Stadium in Sydney, Australia on the 19th.
Doosan hit the mound of the ABL All-Stars, concentrating on 11 hits. Kim In-tae, Ahn Seung-han, and Shin Seong-hyun were active with multi-hits, while Kim Dae-han, Kang Jin-seong, and Park Gye-beom added RBIs to help the team win.
On the mound, starter Choi Won-joon pitched 2 innings, 1 hit, 1 walk, 5 strikeouts, no runs, and Kim Dong-ju, Kim Myung-shin, Ko Bong-jae, and Park Chi-guk pitched a no-run pitch.
In the 4th inning, Ahn Jae-seok and Kim In-tae collaborated to score first, and Doosan added 1 point each in the 5th and 6th innings, leading 3-1. Doosan coach Lee Seung-yeop said after the game, “It was the first match against an outside team in 2023.
